Celebrity Makeup Artist Lo ‘Lustre’ wanted to expand her private services to everyday clients founding simply Beautiful Makeup Artistry in 2009 after 7 years in the Beauty Industry. Lo was given the nickname Lustre by her peers because of instant recognition and rising status among the young Hollywood crowd.  Lo’s looks can be seen on the Red Carpet for Hollywood  movie primeres including ‘300’, the 2009 MTV VMA’s as well as NBC’s The Today Show, VH1′s Mission: Man Band and UPN’s The Road To Stardom With Missy Elliot. Using her skills to garner top names Lo worked her way into projects such as the 2009 hit comedy ‘Get Him To The Greek’ starring Russell Brand and Jonah Hill and several Documentaries along with Independent Horror Films.

With a history of editorial styling for magazines and work in music videos Lo has also worked in Cosmetic Retail Sales for high end Department Stores as a Lead Beauty Advisor. During her time as Lead Beauty Advisor she has sold cosmetics to NJ News Anchors, LPGA Golfers and Reality TV Stars including Deena Nicole Cortese of Jersey Shore. Her duties included applying makeup to all types of skin tones and textures for people of all ages and demonstrating brands like Bloom, Flori Roberts, Dermablend and launching new products for Garnier.

During her training in New York City and Los Angeles Lo studied acclaimed professional techniques of MAC Founders Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo, NARS Founder Francois Nars, “Beauty Guru” Bobby Brown and the late visionary Makeup Artist Kevyn Aucion.

Airbrushing is one of our specialties, a skill not widely taught. Film & Television makeup artists have been airbrushing for over a decade. It is the preferred technique for digital photography and the only mode used with high definition television.
