Looking for a wedding DJ was a challenge. I wanted someone who loved to get people dancing but didn't stand there "yelling" at my guests- "hey why isn't anyone dancing, let's get more people on the floor!" I believed a real DJ could get people up and dancing without having to ask them to do it! This is what we found in Jeff from sound connection entertainment. From the first brief introduction with Jeff we wanted him for our wedding. Jeff knows music and he knows how to get a crowd going. Every request we made from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception were executed perfectly. I have received MANY compliments about the reception music and people commenting on the fact that Jeff kept everyone dancing. My husband wanted an obscure song to be played during dinner- he couldn't even find a clear version of it-- Jeff played a clear and complete version-- my husband was thrilled! Not only that but at the end of the night Jeff presented us with a CD featuring all of our ceremony, first dance and intro music as well as special requests like the song my husband wanted! Throughout the night Jeff would quietly and calmly check in with me to make sure everything was going well and ask if there was anything else I needed from him or wanted. I loved that he demonstrated that level of concern for really making our event great! We also had sound connection do some special lighting and a monogram spotlight that added some flair to the event. Every aspect of sound connection entertainment's work was impeccable and we could not be happier!

Jason Jani of sound connection ROCKED our wedding!!!! He went above and beyond all expectations. We had the dance floor filled all night and people are talking about how awesome the music was. Where do I begin...Absolutely Positively Amazing!!! From my initial meeting with Jason I knew he was extremely passionate about what he does and had no doubt that he would make our wedding personal and unique!He said, "your wedding should reflect you"and he did just that! I've been to 11 weddings in the past 3 years..yes 11.. and none of them even compared to the experience I had at mine! Everyone had a blast and was on the dance floor All night! As the bride, the day of your wedding there are so many other things on your mind that you tend to forget all the personal touches or tributes you had intended...well not with Jason...he took care of Everything! While planning our wedding my husband and I both agreed finding a great DJ was top priority. Having attended several other weddings we really were noticing how much the music shapes the night. Our venue suggested Sound Connection and we booked. Their professionalism is incomparable. As our wedding planning gained more speed and stress our music list took a back seat, and before we knew it our final meeting was here and we had no song list. Nick from sound connection was our savior! Even though my husband and I had not spent the time we had originally planned to on our music Nick picked up the slack. He was so right on with our style, likes, and dislikes we could not be happier. He played songs we had forgotten to mention, and threw in the perfect amount of crowd interaction. Both our families spent the night on the dance floor, and several friends have told us they have never danced so much at a wedding! Jason and the entire staff at Sound Connection were absolutely amazing from the very first phone call that I made to them! They are extremely helpful and prompt...very easy to correspond with. I was looking for a professional and talented DJ without all of the traditional "cheesy stuff" and found exactly that in Sound Connection. After only two meeting with my husband and I, Jason knew our musical tastes and mixed the perfect songs to keep our guests dancing all night long. He did a great job with the lighting and the monogram as well and they really added so much to the room. I've received so many compliments on how great he was and would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Jason Jani from Sound Connection Entertainment was a godsend. SCE was the only dj company I met with. I was immediately hooked and jumped on the SCE bandwagon. Jay was completely professional, friendly, easy-going, knowledgeable, and experienced. He knew exactly what to play to make the party hopping. The dance floor was constantly packed with guests from teenagers to grandparents. I LOVED what Sound Connection did for me. They provided me with amazing music, blue uplighting, and spotlights. Overall, I have and will continue to recommend SCE to every single friend getting married. Any bride will be lucky to have Jason dj their wedding, do it, you won't be disappointed! Words can't really even express our gratitude to Jason and the Sound Connection Entertainment team. They went above and beyond every step of the way with our wedding. During our wedding planning process we realized so many wedding vendors will promise you the world and when the wedding day comes you realize they don't deliver exactly what they said they would. This was the furthest thing from the truth with Jason, he delivered on every promise and more. For example when what we planned for the cocktail hour didn't work out (that day of course) Jason quickly set up his own equipment and music, which saved our cocktail hour. At all times through our planning process we were always able to count on Sound Connection Entertainment 100%. Jason's energy was contagious at our meetings and our wedding. He shared the same excitement we had about our wedding from the first meeting to the last song of the night. Our wedding music selection was no easy task to blend together throughout one evening. Jason had to blend Polka, Salsa, Oldies, and Disco for our parents, and of course our type of music which is Club and Hip Hop. Obviously this is not the easiest task. However, Jason mashed up oldies with club, hip hop with salsa, and so on, which kept our dance floor packed from beginning to end. Some of his personal mashups and remixes are things that you expect to hear at a Miami night club or Vegas pool. Every single person raved about the music from that night until even today which is over a month later. Sound Connection Entertainment was the BEST VENDOR EXPERIENCE we had throughout our entire wedding. If you meet with Sound Connection, we are sure you will not want to/need to meet with any other entertainment company. Even beyond music, at all times of the actual night, Jason was there to make sure everything went smoothly. He was always in touch with everything and made sure the timing of everything went perfectly. He was an amazing MC.We were treated like family by Jason and his team and we're sure you will be treated the same. When you book Sound Connection Entertainment you can be assured that at least the DJ/Music portion of wedding (which we all know is one of the most important things) will be absolutely perfect!!!!!!!! From the very first meeting we had with Jeff, I knew that we were in good hands. I never had to worry about a thing. He was very responsive with emails and I could always count on him for his thoughts and ideas for song choices. Jeff was truly a pleasure to work with and was one of my favorite vendors from my June 2010 wedding. On our wedding day, Jeff was truly amazing. His introductions for the family and bridal party were great and he kept the dance floor packed all night long and played all of our favorite songs without us even asking him! They were amazing from start to finish. Jason was nothing but helpful with the planning of the songs for the wedding and he had everyone dancing all night long. Jason Jani is THE BEST! Our wedding was a blast; his mix of music had our guests on the dance floor all night long! From the minute the reception doors opened until the last song of the night people where up dancing. All night people kept raving about how great the music was...we didn't want the night to end! The lighting he did around the ballroom was awesome! Jason was a pleasure to work with and I can't say enough great words about his work! I can honestly say that through all the stress that a couple has to go through leading up to their wedding, having a DJ like Jason and Sound Connection it makes it that much easier. Sound Connection not only helps you create the perfect wedding, but is sure to make it as personalized as you would like. Every idea that my wife and I had was able to become a reality because of the professionals working at Sound Connection. From the incredible technology used (lights, tvs, etc) to DJs who make sure the right music is played all night long , I do not have one bad thing to say. My wife and I wanted are wedding to be something that people would continue to talk about for a long time and that is exactly what has occurred. We had DJ Jeff Balkin from SCE work our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was packed all night, he made a great custom mix for our entrance, we had a logo projected on to the dancefloor and he easily rolled with some last minute changes - from the bridal party lineup changing to my grandfather wanting to read a poem during the reception. SCE made our party what it was - people practically had to be chased off the dance floor at the end of the evening. Thanks Jeff and Sound Connection for an amazing event. We couldn't have asked for more!!

We had Gregg and Nick at our wedding on 6/4/10. They were GREAT. Our guests truly had a good time. The playlist they set up had everything we asked for. They even found some really odd requests we had set up, which was awesome. Gregg was extremely professional and super friendly. He went out of his way to accomodate us and try to make the entire event much easier on us. We had last minute changes before the big day as well as some tweaks at the wedding itself. They kept everythign running so smoothly.Would totally do it all over again with Sound Connection.We also rented the photobooth from them as well. BIGGEST HIT OF THE WEDDING. The guests LOVED it. And we laughed and laughed at the album of pictures for days afterwards. I want a photobooth at EVERY EVENT.Definitely recommend Sound Connection to anyone still looking to book. I just had my wedding this weekend and cannot express enough how amazing a job Sound Connection does!!! We worked with Jason Jani- from day one of sitting down with him, I knew we were in good hands. My husband and I are both touring drummers and lovers of music, so we knew it had to be a central and successful part of our night- and let's face it- at the end of the day, it is just a huge party- so you want your guests to enjoy themselves and dance!!! Jason worked with us on a package including photo montages to honor my mother who had passed, our own personal story, and photos we wanted to include throughout the ceremony- he was so flexible and professional in handling all the many facets of the night and made it all look and feel seamless. Jason and his crew had everything set up and ready to go when we walked in the door and constantly checked in with us on where we were on timing, the flow of the night and our preferences as the night went on- he definitely RAN the night. He communicated with the venue staff to ensure everything was running smoothly and adjusted first dances, speeches and important parts of the night accordingly. The music selection and flow of what was played when could not have been executed better. People were on the dance floor ALL night and they played everything from Reggae to Hip Hop to 60's Rock- and it all worked. They also incorporated videos of some of the songs, which added a nice touch. We also opted for the Photobooth and I must say...GET IT!!!! It was such a fun and unique aspect of the night and all of our guests absolutely loved it!! There was a line out the door to go in! We got the lounge style which can fit a LOT of people and only added to the fun of it. They put together the most beautiful book for us with all the pics from the booth and had our guests sign next to them. The guest gets a picture for themselves in a frame to take home with our names at the bottom of the picture. It was such a fun activitiy to break up the wedding- and people loved it! Ok, I know you're planning a wedding and this is a long review, but I had to include all the aspects so you know what you are getting- hire these guys!! I promise you will not be disappointed- they went above and beyond, and Jason even talked me down from a meltdown the day before due to the incliment weather, which is definitely NOT part of the contract! ha! Honestly, only amazing things to say about Sound Connection and their professional and personal style. Good luck!!!

George and I used Jason from SCE for our wedding on May 22, 2010. He was awesome, provided great service for our wedding and did everything he could to help make our day great as far as music goes. He had a wide variety of songs that kept our guests on the dance floor all night. He did more than he had to for us and we greatly appreciated it. All of our friends and family tell us how "Awesome" our DJ was or how much they really liked our DJ. He did a great job from the music, to the uplighting, to our montage, to interacting with George and I and our guests. We highly recommend him and if we ever need another DJ for another occasion we know exactly where to go. Jason will not leave you dissappointed! Thanks again for everything! Words can NOT describe how satisfied my husband and I are with the services SCE provided for us. Jason was hands on all the way, staying in touch with us via e-mail, phone, even facebook. He even changed a particular entrance song when my husband requested it about 1/2 hour before the actual entrance.We had about 120 people at our wedding, and at one point I think almost every single person was on the dance floor. Everything was timed perfectly during the ceremony and reception. Our wedding was May 15 and even during our honeymoon people were calling us (and still continue to call) to tell us how amazing our DJ was. I even told Jason, we had gone to a wedding a week before ours where the couple paid more for their DJ got less than us, and the bride complained about him after. There was maybe 10 people on the dance floor at any given time.... In a nut shell... We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JASON AND THE SOUND CONNECTION ENTERTAINMENT CREW!!! It is my pleasure to write a review here for Jason and Sound Connections because they made my day perfect. I have never met someone so passionate about what they do for a living until we met him. Music was very important to us as we have been to so many weddings in the past, we wanted something different that everyone would talk about. We danced all night, and everything was just perfect. Where to start... Everything was perfect. From the use of the website, blogs and even facebook, it made everything smooth. Day of the wedding couldn't have been better. Jay made the day.
