Tom Merighi, the owner of Merighi's Savoy Inn, was very friendly & down to earth but also very professional. From the first meeting, all the way up to the wedding & even after, he's been nothing but great! Not only did he work with me to give me everything I wanted, but he also gave ideas, which were very helpful. The outside garden where the ceremony was held, is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the pretty view. It also made for great pictures. The grande ballroom where the reception was held was gorgeous. The ballroom has enough beauty on its own, no need for decorations, but he also provides a service for getting the room decorated. The walls are mirrored & has beautiful wood work. Such a classy place. The staff is very friendly & great at what they do. The food was out of this world. Everything tasted great. Tom has the perfect personality & patience to be in this line of business. He is with you every step of the way. You can tell he has been doing it for a while. If you are planning a wedding or any type of special occassion, I strongly recommend using Merighi's Savoy Inn as the facility to enjoy a smooth, hassle free event.

The Savoy Inn was fantastic! Our daughter’s wedding was July 16, 2011. If you are planning a wedding, you will NOT be disappointed in choosing the Savoy.Right from the beginning you will have your personal “wedding planner”, Tommy Merighi. When he told us he would take care of everything, he meant it. Emails were ALWAYS answered quickly. He is EXTREMELY organized. Tommy will give you suggestions and listen to yours. All 270 guests were taken care of professionally right down to my 88 year old mother. When one of the waitresses saw my mother getting up to get her dinner, she personally stopped what she was doing to get my mother her platter.We chose the buffet and were very happy that we did. What a beautiful presentation and delicious too!The dance floor is the best around. It was large enough to accommodate everyone. Our guests had fun as they kept the floor packed all night long.A big plus to the Ballroom is that no matter where your guests are seated, they will be able to see everything. The tables are around the dance floor not all on one side of the room like many other venues.We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day. The pictures taken outdoors in the Savoy Gardens came amazing.We live in Vineland. My daughter was married May 14, 2011. We started planning over a year and 1/2 in advance. Several of my family members had their reception at The Savoy, so naturally that is where our daughter wanted hers. I cannot begin to tell you what a fabulous choice we made by going there. From the beginning Tommy was there to answer all of our questions and address any of our concerns. He assisted with vendor suggestions and guided us through the planning. Whatever the bride & groom wanted, if he could provide it, he would. When the day arrived, as soon as my husband & I walked into the venue all of our concerns were put to rest. I actually cried when I saw how beautiful everything was set up - way beyond my expectations. It was a fairytale from start to finish. Tommy made sure that we were attended to and relieved us of the stress of being the host and hostess. Food was amazing, staff so courteous and professional. The bride and groom were blown away by the attentiveness on their special day. You will not be sorry in choosing Merighi's Savoy Inn for any event you are planning. I never had to worry if I would be dealing with someone new by the time the day arrived. You are dealing with the BEST and an institution that has stood the test of time. Our son and daughter in law were married in March 2011 at Merighi's Savoy Inn.The wedding turned out to be an outstanding affair. The atmosphere and the level of service were over and above well done. The wedding was sit down style and the food was amazing to the eye, more than plentifull and the taste and quality were perfection. This was a great choice for their wedding.

Our daughter's reception was held at Merighi's Savoy Inn and we could not have been more pleased. Everything from start to finish was wonderful. Tom did an excellent job and his staff is to be commended. From the time we walked into the reception it was like a weight was lifted off our shoulders. Tom took care of everything and saw that it all ran smoothly. Our guests had nothing but high praise for the whole affair, from the cocktail hour to the dessert and everything in between. All of our guests raved about the food, which was excellent! The reception room when we walked in looked magical, it was just so beautiful. The table decor and the flowers were first class and made our daughter feel so special. Her and her new husband truly enjoyed their reception and it was all due to Tom Merighi who, in my opinion, is the weddding "go to guy"!

The Savoy Inn was amazing! First off let me start with telling you we had 14 bridesmaids, 12 groomsmen, 3 flower girls, 5 ring bearers and over 300 people invited to our wedding. Tom treated us like family from the time we went to look at the venue. Family is extremely important to us; we knew Tom & the Savoy was the perfect fit. Tom and his staff did above and beyond from beginning to end. Any requests we had Tom made happen. Everyone who came to our wedding tells us that it was the wedding of the year! They can't stop ranting and raving about the food, drinks and service. We have the Savoy Inn to thank for making our dreams come true! We love the Savoy!!! :o)

We just held our daughter's wedding reception at The Savoy on 10/29/10 and could not have been any happier! Everything was wonderful from beginning to end. Everyone raved about the food, from the appetizers to the desserts and everything in between! The staff was friendly and efficient- the service was excellent. Everything looked beautiful- they did a wonderful job at setting up and decorating, even down to carefully spreading the confetti on the tables. Every detail was just right and exceeded our expectations, including the recommended vendors. Nicky G did a great job, and we got several compliments on the cake too, even though the guests took it home because they were full of sweets from the dessert buffet table! I would highly reccommend the buffet package as it came with the dessert buffet which our guests really enjoyed. Last, but not least, Tom Merighi was an outstanding host and a pleasure to work with. He helped us in the planning stages to keep within our budget and made excellent suggestions to make the evening go smoothly, which it did! It is easy to see that he takes great pride in his establishment and in every event that he hosts. Our daughter was thrilled with the evening and so were we, and everyone had a great time!

I recently had my reception at Merighi's Savoy Inn and I would recommend this site to everyone! Tom made the pre-wedding stress-free, He was there any time I needed to ask a question or just be there for advice. The wedding reception flowed wonderfully, not once was I stressed there! Everyone at our reception talked and thanked us for weeks and weeks. People still talk about it now! That’s what an awesome time everyone had there! I cannot think of one negative thing to say because everything was AWESOME!

We had the absolute best time throwing our wedding reception at The Savoy!! Beyond the food and drink being outstanding, the service that we got as the guests of honor was AMAZING! The owner, Tommy, was by our sides all night long ensuring that we had the best wedding reception possible. From the beginning of the planning phases, he made sure that we felt right at home, as we were planning our wedding from across the country. We were always able to easily contact him through facebook or over the phone and got a response within seconds. Through our interactions, Tommy became more like one of our oldest friends, rather than just some owner of the place we were having our wedding. You really can't beat their personal touch at The Savoy, and if we could do our wedding reception again, we would absolutely have it there every time! We highly recommend that you pick The Savoy to have your wedding reception or any event for that matter, you will NOT be disappointed.

Our Day was perfect....from the time I arrived until the last guest left all we heard were rave reviews and still are! ALL of the staff were professional, friendly and caring..Tommy is the best. Myself having been in this business before can sometimes make it a little more difficult, Tommy from our first meeting took what I had in MY mind added some of his own suggestions and made Our dream come true. The food from start to finish was fabulous and the price?? Ladies...STOP! call Tommy and discuss with him, use your cash for something else you have dreamed of the Savoy will take care of the Reception. If you are looking for a reception ballroom look no further. The Savoy offers a spacious dining area, large dance floor, two seperate bars, and a beautiful Pavillion and Patio terrace. The staff of the Savoy is top notch, they see to your every need. Tom Merighi Jr, is amazing, he takes over the minute you walk in the door and you do not have to worry he is on top of it.We held our daughter Dani's reception at Merighi's Savoy Inn on 10/31/09. Our daughter wanted a fall holloween theme for her special day. We met with Tom Merighi Jr. and he was very receptive to all our request (even a TV for the world series). We have received nothing but raves from our guest on the delicious hor d'oeuvers, soup and dinners and what a beautiful reception hall. Thank you Tommy and your staff.

Beautiful, Delicious, Exceptional, Unforgettable...these are four of the most important words a bride (and groom) want to hear about their wedding reception and if that's all I said I wouldn't be saying enough.....My husband and I had our reception at Merighi’s Savoy Inn on October 24, 2009. In March 2008 we met with Tom, reviewed his informational packet, toured the ballroom and left with the undeniable feeling that this was the place! One week later we were booked!The Food was perfect and delivered as promised. Delicious, melt in your mouth, homemade Italian cooking. There were so many mouth watering selections (with all different influences) it took us @ 10 times eating at the restaurant and several family votes to decide on our menu. There is something for everyone. The ‘locals’ at our reception remember nothing short of AMAZING every time they have been for events or dinner and our wedding reception was just that.The Ballroom was everything we envisioned it would be and then some. I walked in and thought wow....they hit the nail on the head. You spend so much time planning, preparing and telling people what you want, that in that process they get to know who you are and what it is you’re looking for exactly. There were several details that were added by Tom and Brandy at Anton’s Florist, that made it that much more beautiful and ‘theme’ appropriate.The Staff were so friendly, attentive, warm and on top of everyone’s needs. You almost never ‘needed’ anything because you already had it or someone was already getting it for you. Tom Jr. was unbelievably helpful from day 1 and I could never express enough gratitude for just how much support he provided. With all of the questions I had- email after email- I always received a timely answer and I never felt that any question/detail was too small. He was there with us EVERY STEP of the way.We truly felt at home and to this day still do! We made life long memories in the perfect place and will continue to frequent the restaurant and events for many years to come. Our guests are still raving about our reception!!!!!!For anyone who is considering Merighi’s Savoy Inn for your wedding and or wedding reception, do it! It’s the best decision we ever made! I just wanted to say anyone thinking about having your wedding or reception at the Savoy Inn?DO IT! I had my wedding and reception at the Savoy in May of 09, i couldn't have asked for anything more?Tom was very hands on and took care of everything, he helped us with our rehearsal..we got married right there in the gardens it was so beautiful?the food was awesome..i had so many compliments on the food. Tom kept everything going we didn't have to worry he guided us through everything, his staff even cleaned my up when my husband got cake all over me. They were so accommodating. The Ballroom with two bars is big and also beautiful.Prices were also very reasonable..a lot cheaper than some country clubs where u get less and get dry food.Really more than I could have asked for. Thanks Tom!!!

My husband and I both agree that our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Tommy Merighi Jr. and his incredible staff at Merighi's Savoy Inn. Tommy personally took care of each and every detail to ensure that our wedding was special.Thanks to Tommy's organization, our guests had the correct balance of attention, comfort, and fun. Every event of our wedding was timed-out perfectly; from the cocktail hour, the introduction of the bridal party, each delicious dinner course, our special dances, and the cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss. When you're at Merighi's Savoy Inn, you always feel "at home" - You and your guests can just relax and enjoy the evening with no worries. The entire staff treats you like family - very friendly and accommodating, in a very professional manner. My husband and I now know that Merighi's Savoy Inn was the right place to have our wedding because we have been married for almost a year now, and people are still talking about how much they loved it! Even folks who did not attend our wedding, have told us they heard it was fabulous! We knew we picked the right venue when we were given compliments like that!Our guests raved about excellent food, from the cocktail hour hors d'oeures all the way to the dessert! The meal not only tasted delicious, but it was fun and easy to plan our food selections with Tommy during our meetings. There are many options to choose from; Tommy has a selections of packages for weddings and other events, OR his chefs are always able to create any meal/menu that you that desire - the possiblities are endless. When we first met with Tommy we were nervous about all the things that had to be done, but after our first meeting with Tommy, my husband and I immediately felt relief and "at-ease" ...Tommy answered all of our questions, addressed all of our concerns, and allowed us to enjoy the experience of planning our wedding. Tommy reviewed all the details of the entire evening so that on the day of the wedding there where no surprises. He even coordinated things with the our musicans, florist, limos and valet, decorator - everything! Right down to choosing the table linens. Working with Tommy is such a pleasure! The Grand Ballroom is beautiful! Large enough to accomadate 500 guests with a spaceous dance floor! And Tommy's brand new remodeled entrance to the ballroom was a perfect place for pictures; As well as the Savoy Gardens photo stop. Since our wedding, we have already attended 3 others events in The Merighi's lovely "Rose Room" - everytime we go there we truly enjoy ourselves. My husband and I also enjoy having dinner in "The Savoy Bistro" - We just can't decide which night we enjoy most: Tuesdays is "Two for $25" Wednesday is Dugeness Crab Night - But our favorite probably is Friday or Saturday nights when there is live entertainment during dinner - Tommy provides an enjoyable night out for us!We thank Tommy for all his hospitality !!! It is wonderful to have a classy restaurant in the area with lots of accommodations and options. With three generations, their great experience really shows.

We hosted the wedding reception for our son Joseph and his bride Jennifer at the Savoy. The facility has a large beautiful room that was exceptionally decorated. The staff did everything possible to give our guests a memorable evening, friendly and accommodating to all. Tom Merighi, Jr. took personal charge of all of the pre-arranged details, working with the entertainment, doing the introductions, supervising the service...really superb service! With regard to the food, every comment was positive. Some that we received were "the best prime rib that I have ever eaten"; "with all of the hors d'oeuvres, I could have skipped dinner"; the veal marsala was incredible"; "you could cut the prime rib with a fork"; "the chicken on the appetizer line was the greatest"; and "we were glad that we took the cake home because the dessert table was outstanding". This is the third generation of the family to own this business and there is a reason why places remain open and busy despite economic conditions. We would give it six stars if that were an option. I highly and whole-heartedly recommend the Savoy Inn to any bride and groom. My son was married two years ago and their reception was held at the Savoy, and my daughter was married a little over a year ago and we had her reception there as well. I can tell you that both receptions were beautiful and went off without a hitch. Everything about the venue was perfect from the beautiful atmosphere to the food and most especially the service. As the mother of the bride it was wonderful never having to worry about one detail. Everything was handled by Tom Merighi, Jr. and his staff - right down to making sure that my favorite drink was waiting for me when we arrived, to every need of the bride and groom. We did not have to think or worry about one detail. The Savoy Inn is like family. There is nowhere in this area where you can have the quality reception that we had for the price. My daughter's out-of-town in-law's remarked that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Yes, I am bragging, but having been to many wedding receptions myself, I have to say that Merighi's is the tops!! Really a class act.

We had numerous things occur that caused us to change the date and need more room and they accomodated us without any fees.
