Mia and her team are absolutely amazing, they exceeded mine and my bridal party's expectations and then some! I really can't say enough wonderful things about her. Mia and her team are professional, fun to be around and flat out amazing at what they do. Mia was extremely helpful especially because I lived so far away. I was first planning the wedding all the way from Los Angeles and then from Boston and one thing I never had to worry about was my hair and make-up! She always responded timely. I even went to my consultation a week before the big day and then completely changed my mind for my hairstyle and she came through with carrying out what I wanted perfectly. My bridal party and I received numerous compliments on our hair and make-up the day of and our venue has even asked us to use our photos for their wedding promotions. Without Mia I doubt that would have happened!

Mia was great! She does all her services from travel, so she travels right to your house (or where-ever your getting ready at) for everything. She came to my house for my make-up trial about 3 months out from my wedding. She consults with you before and then changes anything you do not like. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and she is fantastic at what she does. Her services are hair and make-up, but we only needed her for make-up. On the day of, she made me and my party at ease and did not try to push us one way or another on certain make-up. She uses all the top of the line products and it stayed on all day and night! And once she was done with our make-up, and my hairdressers had already left my house, she helped some of my girls and myself re-position bobby pins and hairspray. She was great! And depending on your party size, she brings along enough people who are equally as talented to help her. She was great and definitely gave me and my girls and my mom, exactly what we wanted!

I would highly recommend Mia for any wedding or special occasion. Mia and her girls did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup! The whole bridal party was pleased and in love with their look for my special day. They arrived on time and were finished hair and make up early. The prices were fabulous for at home hair and makeup and everyone was relaxed since it was in my home. Everything was perfect!

Amazing! All of the girls that came and did our hair & make-up with Mia were incredible and time efficient!! Mia was very professional and does a great job with time management and making sure that I felt important! Each and everyone of my bridesmaids, flower girls, my mom, and myself got told all day how gorgeous our hair 7 make-up looked! Thank you soo much! and Casey - your rock! :)

Mia and her three assistants did all of the hair and makeup for me, my five bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law. My aunt, a friend, and my husband's two grandmothers decided last-minute to get their hair/makeup on the day of the wedding, and Mia was able to fit them into the schedule as well. When I had my trial with Mia, I had a good idea of the hairstyle I wanted, but I was still undecided on my makeup. My hair turned out like I wanted and I only tweaked the style on my wedding day a little bit (no part instead of a part). After the trial I got a better idea of what type of look I wanted with my makeup, and sent Mia the photos. Her makeup assistant did my makeup beautifully the day of the wedding, just like I wanted. I was also really happy with my hair, which had fresh flowers in it. My bridal party looked amazing as well. Beautiful long goddess curls for my bridesmaids, gorgeous makeup all around, including very age-appropriate makeup for my young cousin. Mia's prices are very reasonable and her team is excellent at what they do. Everyone looked wonderful and I was very impressed with their work!

Mia was AMAZING! She was extremely outgoing and friendly. Her costs were very reasonable, yet the work she did went above & beyond what I could have expected. She did both my hair & makeup as well as a trial run a couple weeks before the wedding. The night of my trial run, I worked my regular 10hr overnight shift and the curls lasted the whole night. I highly recommend her to everyone!!

Mia is AMAZING!!! she did such a fabulous job...everyone was so pleased with their make up!! I would highly recommend Mia to anyone looking for a make up artist..she has miracles in her magic box!!

I was lucky enough to have found Mia on the Knot when another bride recommended her to me. Prior to my finding out about Mia I had two hair trials gone horribly wrong! With everything else that was going on with planning my wedding I had reached the point of feeling stressed. I knew my hair was going to be very important and didn't imagine it would be so hard to find someone who I connected with. Needless to say from the first day Mia and I met there was an instant connection and I felt so comfortable with her. My hair trial was great and I loved everything she did! On the day of my wedding Mia truly exceeded my expectations and I couldn't have dreamed of anything better than what she did. I felt such an ease just knowing I was in great hands. My hair lasted all night long and even the last picture of the night it still looked great! Everything turned out perfect and I can honestly say that I have never felt so beautiful and never imagined I could ever feel that way. Mia was fantastic and easy to work with. I loved how my hair and makeup came out for both my trail and especially my wedding day. It lasted all night. Her rates were very affordable too!

Mia was a key factor in making my wedding perfect! I married a Canadian-Azorean man in September of 2008. (The Azores are a chain of nine volcanic islands off the coast of Portugal.) His parents took the train down to Philadelphia from Ottawa, Ontario, and my MIL wanted to get her hair done with me. She has thick, wavy and LONG hair, but Mia managed to wrangle her mane into one of the most gorgeous hairstyles I'd ever seen. She studded her hair with faux pearls that we had originally planned to put in my hair, but they didn't work out. My MIL was so pleased, she kept looking at herself in the mirror! She said she felt like a princess. My hair was great also. She curled it into many ringlets and it stayed all night even though she had done my hair at 7 am! Mia worked with me a few times before the wedding to make sure we had everything planned and was prompt and courteous. I still keep in touch with her to cut my hair on a regular basis. She's the only one that does it how I like it! I can't recommend her enough.

Mia was fabulous! My hair looked amazing and I got a lot of compliments on it throughout the night. Her assistant was fine BUT not as good as Mia. Mia was flexible enough to realize that her assitant needed some assitance and was able to fix/finish what her assistant couldn't. I had given Mia some ideas for my hair and do to my living situation we had my hair trial months before the wedding...my hair had grown considerably and she took our original creation and made it even more spectacular since she had more hair to work with at the time of my actual wedding. I would highly recommend Mia for your wedding (or any) day hair!!

I chose Creations by Mia primarily because they came to me and the reasonable prices. I was glad I did! Mia was the contact person and was very helpful. Casey did my hair and make up and was great! She is friendly and easy to get along with. She did a wonderful job and made sure I looked awesome on my wedding day!

Mia and her assistants made my wedding day awesome. They had to do hair and makeup for 11 people and timed it perfectly so they could fit everyone in. My hair was perfect - even better than I imagined. Mia even made a hairpiece for me after I told her about one that I saw that was way out of my price range. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair as well, and Mia and her assistants were willing to make changes as they worked so that all the girls were happy. Mia came right to our hotel room and made it very easy for us to relax and get ready while getting our hair/makeup done. Her prices were very reasonable, too, and the quality was exceptional.

Mia and her team made my girls and I look great ! I was very happy with everything that they provided for us that day.

Mia and her assistant Daniella did a completely amazing job with hair and makeup on my wedding day. Both arrived at my home exactly on time to get started with hair for my five bridesmaids. They were able to use photos each girl had brought to create a unique hairstyle for each of them. Their hair looked great and lasted all day. My hair and make up trial with Mia took place a few months before my wedding, and there was no problem with making some changes to my hair style in between the trial and wedding. She also took some pictures during the trial to help recreate what we had tried out. On my wedding day, I looked and felt better than I could have imagined. My hair and make up lasted well after the reception had ended and looked great after happy tears and a day full of smiles, kissing, and 90+ degree heat. Mia is so friendly and calming during our prep before the ceremony. She has a very outgoing but professional demeanor - she was responsive to my inquiries even when her wedding season was in full swing. Mia and Daniella got along great with my girlfriends and made everyone look and feel wonderful. Her prices are very fair and reasonable - much better priced for the trials and bridesmaid hair compared to other vendors I investigated. I also appreciated having my deposit applied to my final balance.
