Classic Cake Company

I have to start out with the fact that I dont really like cake. If someone has a birthday party I dont usually eat it because the icing is too sweet and the flavors are just boring. So when I went to the Classic Cake Co for our meeting I didnt really care what type of cake because I knew I probably would not be eating it. BUT. They have the most amazing flavors and the icing is amazing!!!! We choose a chocolate buttercream cake with piped vanilla flowers and it was beautiful. It was not traditional and that it what I loved about it. The rasberry cream filling was so good and the chocolate icing was also amazing! I cant even rave enough about the Classic Cake Co. Always professional when I called and the cake was beautiful. It exceeded my expectations! I will return there for sure.

The cake we received from Classic Cake was absolutely gorgeous! The choices they offer in cakes and frosting is such that you could have any cake you could possibly imagine. We opted for a simpler cake but with a custom design that matches the design on our wedding bands and they greatly surpassed my expectations. With just a print out of the design, they were able to draw the design perfectly. Not to mention how delicious the cake was itself! The cost of our cake was included in the cost of our venue, so we only ended up paying for the edible flowers, which were sculpted perfectly, but we would have gladly paid extra for the wonderful job that they did!!

I am always pleased with the caked they do the special designs on them.The wedding cake they made for us was exactly what we where aiming for.The design they came up with was fabulous and not only did it look great but tasted like something you would want to remember.Thanks!

Our cake was part of our wedding package but we wanted something more than your normal cake. They made a beautiful mad hatter cake for us with blue and tangerine fondant to match our wedding colors. Each of the four layers were different kinds of pound cake with different fillings. People raved about how wonderful the cake was. The best man ate four pieces trying to taste each layer! It was exactly what we wanted. Classic Cake also supplied us with the three pound challah (Jewish roll to say the blessing over). They were wonderful.

Everyone at our wedding commented on how beautiful our cake was and delicious!! I would use them again for any event!!

My cake was beautiful and delicious, I only wish I had more. Classic Cake is a long time favorite but I still tried at least 10 bakeries. I am so happy I picked them. They were helpful, professional and they even handled some last week changes. It was a great experience and all of my guests loved the cakes. Thank you.

Classic Cake was an interesting experience that ended up great. The place we had our wedding included a cake by Classic Cake in their wedding package, and charged extra if you wanted to use someone else. When we picked up our samples to pick our flavors, we really were not impressed at all. The samples came in cupcake size with containers of icing to put on top and try different combinations. I don't know if they were just a couple days old and stale, or maybe it was just more dried out in cupcake size, but honestly they just weren't very good. We felt like we were settling, but just went with it because we didn't feel like paying extra when this was included. That said, the cake at the wedding was AMAZING! We had people asking for seconds and claiming it was literally the best cake they had ever had. The cake was beautiful too! I just wanted to share this story because I think if it hadn't been included in our package, we probably would have been scared away by the tasting, but you shouldn't be! We ended up being thrilled with the cake and I would definitely recommend Classic Cake! I rated them a bit lower for flexibility just because I didn't think they had that many options in terms of flavor and filling, but we ended up being very happy with what we chose - chocolate chip with mocha cream filling... mmmm!

Our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful! It was part of our package with The Mansion on Main Street and it was great. We only ran into a snag because the person we ordered the cake from told us all the things we wanted were included with our package, then we get a call two weeks before the wedding to say they are not included and we have to pay several hundred dollars more. When I spoke to them they explained the person I ordered from no longer worked there and some of the features we selected would cost more. We came to an agreement and I was happy with the cake we received, but it was frustrating to have to deal with this weeks before my wedding.

Classic Cake provided excellent cake. Not only did they give me exactly what I wanted, my cake was also kosher and nobody was able to taste the difference. The cake was moist, tasty, and looked beautiful!

Classic Cake was willing to make the cake that we had always dreamed of.They where very flexible with the design and they gave us a low price.I would definitely recommend working with Classic Cake Company just make sure to keep in touch with them to make sure everything turns out well.

Their cake is amazing! I gave them a picture of what I wanted, and they did exactly what I asked! It not only looked great, but tasted so good and everyone raved about it!

I think Classic Cake is expensive. That said, our guests were very happy with the cake and we thought it was delicious. The size recommended seemed appropriate and the tasting helped us to decide what combinations of cake and icing we wanted. The cake was delivered early and looked very near what we ordered. I don't know if a similar quality is available at a similar cost. We were happy with the cake and serivce overall.

I loved my wedding cake. My only complaint was how they waited last minute to deliver the cake to my wedding site.

The cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing. The only issue was the colors of the flowers were wrong, but with everything else that day, no one noticed so I didn't care.

I had a good experience with Classic Cake. They provided a free tasting and listened to what I wanted for the cake and the manager took notes. On the actual day of the wedding, I arrived and the cake was not exactly as ordered. I ordered a two tier round cake, and the top tier was octagonal... Not a big deal, but still not exactly as ordered. The cake itself tasted great though, and it was well decorated. I would recommend them, but make sure to clarify what you want and maybe follow up a day or two before hand.

Classic Cake provided a wedding cake and grooms cake for my daughter's wedding. I have a couple of comments. The wedding cake did not look like the cake in the sample book. It tasted good, but the seashell decorations were significantly smaller than those pictured. For $650 it should have looked more like the cake that was approved. I ordered a grooms cake for $350 and provided pictures of what we wanted it to look like, the bride and groom sitting on a cake with an octopus looming overhead (to fit in with the aquarium theme of the wedding). The figures of the bride and groom were $75 each, and looked great, although the bride was supposed to be holding a bouquet, which was missing. The octopus, which was supposed to be very detailed, was just rolled frosting with holes poked into the rolls to simulate tentacles> Not at all like the pictures we provided to them. Also, I feel like they oversold the amount of cake we needed, telling us we should order an extra sheet cake for the number of guests (230). We had so much cake left over that we had to throw alot of it away. I was not impressed with Classic Cake. They paid lip service to us in the meetings leading up to the wedding, but in the end we paid for something that was not what we ordered. I cannot recommend them and feel we would have done better elsewhere.

Our wedding cake was delicious, and that's really all that mattered in the end. I just need to note, however, that we chose a seashell wedding cake from their own book of samples and what we saw on our wedding day did not look AT ALL like the picture that had been approved. The seashells were about half the size that they were shown in the pictures... and the wedding cake itself was not anything impressive. We had a groom's cake that made up for it (an octopus with a bride and groom), but even that was a disappointment from what was discussed in prior meetings. For the amount of money we spent, I expected more altogether. Classic Cake was a disappointment.
