Dorry was absolutely amazing and gave us an incredible wedding ceremony that was everything we wanted. Dorry went above and beyond to personalize our ceremony and make sure everything represented us as individuals and as a couple. It has been over two months after the wedding, and people are still telling us how much they loved the ceremony. My wife and I did not have any clue how to go about generating a customized non-religious ceremony for our wedding. All we knew was that it had to be unique and it had to represent who we are as people and as a couple. We found Dorry Bless by chance and had an interview. After the initial meeting, we already felt that she had a good grasp of what we were going for and we had confidence that she could deliver. After many subsequent phone calls and e-mails, she culled together a perfect tapestry of our story. She incorporated the cues and readings that we suggested and knew just how to complement them with additional readings, quotes, etc. She really knows how to fill in the picture when you can only provide a basic outline. She is patient, professional, friendly, and personable. Dorry also helped immensely with coordinating the logistics of the ceremony, provided valuable guidance, and always had smart suggestions. There is a pride in her work and you can see how hard she works to make your day as special as you imagined. Not only did we love the ceremony but we got many compliments from those who attended.

Brian and I found Dorry via the internet about a year before our wedding. She promptly provided us information on her services and gave us a call to explain what a celebrant ceremony was. We loved the idea of "personalizing" our own ceremony and set up a meeting with her. We felt an instant connection to her and loved that she would help us in telling our love story for all of our guests. After answering questionnaires individually and sending them to her, she wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us to review and change as we saw fit. We both loved it (I cried when I read it) and we only changed a few words here and there. Brian and I got married on June 18, 2011 on the beach in LBI NJ and we are still hearing from our guests what a beautiful and different ceremony it was then anything they had ever been to. I've been told that when you walked away from the beach you knew us and how deep our love was. Dorry was in constant communication with us, sent us reminders up to the day before the ceremony, helped us with our marriage license, listened to our dream for our wedding day and wrote the most beautiful ceremony while incorporating our words into it. We are so blessed to have found Dorry Bless to officate our wedding ceremony!

Dorry is a true professional - She spent much time to learn about our story and culture (we were not born in America), and was very willing to propose and explain the customized rituals that might fit our background. We were very happy that she was so flexible in fitting our needs. The highlight was probably the script. Through our responses to her questionnaire she was able to write the most touching and emotional script, summarizing our love story, interesting facts and even our own philosophies, while bringing both laughs and tears to our beloved guests. We couldn't have written the script better! We also loved how she paid attention to detail - she checked with us a few times before the ceremony and make sure if anything was changed since the rehearsal, and notified us if she noticed anything was different from our original rundown. She also checked with all other related parties before the ceremony to ensure it would run the way we wanted. Some of our friends told us it was the best ceremony they have ever attended, and we are certain that Dorry was the major reason behind it! We strongly recommend her to be your officiant.

Dorry was a fabulous officiant!! The meeting pre-wedding were through and personal. She strived to make our ceremony completely unique to us and our lives and she did just that. The actual ceremony was perfect. Dorry was a wonderful communicator with all vendors involved with the ceremony and preparations. She really kept everything flowing and we did not worry about anything as we knew she was at the helm! We highly recommend her to anyone for their wedding ceremony!

Dorry is a wonderful person who is amazing at what she does. She did everything possible to make us feel comfortable from the start. The ceremony was customized exactly to fit our personalities and spiritual beliefs, to include our family and loved ones, and to really celebrate the momentousness of the occasion. She made us feel special at every turn, was always helpful and available to answer our questions and wrote a beautiful ceremony outline that made my parents cry happy tears. On the day of the wedding itself she did an excellent job. When she pronounced us husband and wife she did it in such a way that everyone felt the significance and the excitement, it gives me chills to watch it again;) Throughout the wedding reception the most repeated comment was 'your celebrant was amazing' and 'we loved how relaxed and intimate the ceremony was'. We received many many compliments that night and are very grateful to have found such an amazing wedding celebrant. We were both living out of state and she really made it easy to plan our ceremony over the phone and computer. She had great ideas and was able to completely customize our ceremony based on our views and passions in life. We never had to worry about her being at there ceremony and rehearsal completely prepared. We had many great comments on her and our ceremony from our guests attending the wedding.

Our celebrant, Dorry was very helpful in creating a one of a kind ceremony for both us and our family. We had alot of ideas, but we were at a loss as to how to include our two children in our day, she never hesitated when asked to revise things at the last minute or lighten the mood when the kids were not cooperating! She gave us surveys to fill out about us & our life and then scripted a ceremony about us. We were able to view it ahead of time and make changes even to the last second.
