Atlantis Ballroom at the Holiday Inn of Toms River

They gave us exactly what we wanted -- a big party, with great food, and lots of fun! The price and location were what originally drew us there (we got married in Seaside Park, NJ), but the service was really great. I was a little worried in the beginning because the person I met with left the company soon after I booked, but everyone really took care of us so well there! I can't say enough good things about the food! We went to a food tasting session and it helped us pick our stations, but there were more than a few options we could've gone with. They were also VERY good at getting back to email (which is a big thing for me) and happily handed out and set up all of our many last minute additions.

These guys are just the best! Tracy Bendian was awesome to work with- she did everything in her power to help us have a perfect wedding. From Day 1 we fell in love with her when we met her at the Versailles at Ramada, and when she moved to Holiday Inn we knew we could not work with anyone else, so we changed our reception to the Atlantis Ballroom and never regretted it for a second! We had our ceremony on the beach in Seaside, went to Huddy Park for more outside pictures. We had a beautiful day! Everything was perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The people at the Holiday Inn are friendly and helpful, the food was fabulous and the cake from Chocolate Carousel was out of this world- we got so many compliments. Our guests had a blast!

They made our day perfect! The staff at the Holiday Inn was wonderful. They worked with us to make our day special. The food was GREAT! The decor was beautiful! I also loved that the venue for our ceremony was also the location for our reception. So many of my guests commented on how nice it was to be able to just switch rooms instead of having to get in a car and drive to another location. I could not believe how smoothly everything went the day of the wedding! Melissa and Tracy were right there letting everyone know where to stand and what to do. I didn't have to worry about a thing. We were definitely in very capable hands. After our wedding I could not thank the staff enough! Amazing Day!

My husband and I got married here in March and our guests are still telling us how beautiful everything was. The staff was very professional from day 1 and very helpful. Their staff puts in 110% and it shows! From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, everything was just beyond perfect. They really pay attention to detail and making sure the bride and groom are happy. They provided decorations for the ceremony and everything looked great! During cocktail hour there was so much food it was incredible! Everywhere you looked there was food and all different types of food! The bartenders were quick and nobody waited in line too long. During the rehearsal we saw new center pieces the hotel had and we were able to change out center piece the day before the wedding, it was fantastic! The banquet manager, Melissa, well deserves her title too! She knew what fussy eaters my husband and I were so she put aside food for us from cocktail hour we liked just incase we didnt like our food and when we told her we loved it, she sent the saved food up to our room for later. Its details like that, that really count and stick out. The servers were amazing as well! If anybody needed anything they were quick to help and nobdy had to sit with a dirty plate in front of them. All in all they did a GREAT job. Our wedding was so much more that we ever could of imagined it to be. Book with them and you wont regret it!

We had our wedding of 150 guests in the beautiful Atlantis Ballroom. My fiancee and I were pleased both with the size of the room as well as the idea of the dancefloor stretching accross the entire center of the room so all our guests can see everything and the fact that it was so large since we knew it would be full all night, and it was! The food was absloutly delicious both dinner as well as the enormous amount of food in our cocktail hour! The service was wonderful and our Maitre'D was attentive, sweet and thoughful, my husband and I waited for nothing. The room was gorgeous and the night was flawless, our guests complemented about everything the entire night! The hotel rooms were emaculate and very reasonably priced which is not easy to find, we couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else! Tim & Teresa Banka

My wedding is scheduled for this weekend, but I wanted to leave a testimony before and after because of the exceptional service I received. Christine has handled everything related to our wedding and has been absolutely amazing! Christine is the best! She never left a single detail out and was happy to give us advice throughout the process which was all so invaluable to us. We have been accommodated for every request we've asked of her. I truly feel confident that I won't have to worry about a thing on the day of my wedding because of the responsiveness, professionalism and positive attitudes of everyone we worked with, and especially Christine and Lisa. Planning a wedding is very stressful, planning one from another state is even more challenging. Christine and Melissa were very helpful and answered all of our questions, and believe me, we had alot. My husband and I had no idea what we were doing, they gave us a checklist and walked us through what was going to happen from start to finish. The day of our ceremony, neither my husband or I had any idea what kind of venue we were getting since either of us had seen it. It was beautiful---the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception were perfect. the food was amazing, the staff was friendly and accomodating, and the rooms were fabulous. It was everything we wanted and more.

We held our wedding at The Holiday Inn of Toms River on July 23, 2010. It was fantastic!!! From start to finish the staff was on top of everything and made sure everything went perfectly. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were flawless!! I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a perfect wedding experience!

A month has passed since my husband and I were married and people are still complimenting us on our wedding day. We have been getting comments from the exceptional food to the elegant setting of the Atlantis Ballroom. We are so happy that we chose the Atlantis Ballroom, not only for the modern atmosphere, but for the quality of friendly, dedicated workers.Not only have we embraced the memories of our magnificent day, but of the effortless journey of our planning with the Catering and Sales coordinators. Everything was EXACTLY the way we wanted it. Food was our top priority with our wedding and we found that the chefs at the Holiday Inn Toms River exceeded our expectations. We began with the private food tasting that was arranged for us. It was amazing and a great indicator of what was to come. We couldn’t wait to choose the food that would be at our wedding. The Sea Scallop Ice Sculpture that displayed our elaborate raw bar and the Grand Sushi Bar was a hit! The Smashed Potato Bar was indulging as was the rest of the food displays and butler passed hors d’oeuvres. Along with the food at our incredible cocktail hour, the illumination of the indoor pool greeting the guests as they entered the room was a spectacular touch to the atmosphere of the night.When my husband put his hand in mine as we danced our way into the ballroom for the first time as husband and wife, I thought nothing could be better. We knew long before this day that we made a great choice, but that night just confirmed that we found the perfect location to showcase our love story. The ballroom was beautifully decorated with our wedding colors, gray and yellow, accenting all of the classy ivory linens and calla lily centerpieces. We took breaks throughout the night to take it all in and to look around the room at everyone having a blast. Each time we reflect on these moments, we contribute them to you and everyone else involved in planning this day. It is cliché but it really was the best day of our lives! We couldn’t believe that the day was all for us, that everyone who joined us on our day was there for just us, and that the Holiday Inn provided those speechless results.Thank you, thank you, thank you, not only for the fact that we loved the ambiance and accommodations, but for creating the magical moments we will forever remember.

This year is my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and I travel for business a lot. In addition my wife and I live more then two hours away from the Holiday Inn in Toms River, NJ. I reached out to the banquet team headed by Christine V. She and her team helped me plan the wedding anniversary without me ever coming to the hotel until the day before the event. Christine made sure that I had everything covered all the way down to the color of the napkins. During the party the staff was excellent, I can’t say enough on how great they were. Frank, the banquet manager, kept everything running perfectly. I can’t explain in words how caring, professional, helpful Christine and her team were!Thank you for an event which will not be forgotten – My parents have not stopped talking about. I would not have been able to get this done on the road, all sight unseen without you all.

Great venue, delicious food, excellent service, everything was perfect, everyone had a wonderful time. They have a new wedding cordinator named Brooke and a new maitre dei named Frank and they are on top of things and everything was just perfect!!!

Christine was an invaluable resource during our wedding planning. She helped make our wedding everything we ever wanted. My husband and I planned our wedding from another state and Christine made sure every detail was not only taken care of for us, but flawlessly executed. As our point person for the event, she kept us on track with our planning, answered all of our questions in a timely manner and offered some much needed advice when asked. She added a personal touch that made us both confident and comfortable in our venue choice.The entire staff of The Holiday Inn was helpful, courteous and willing to go the extra mile to make our wedding day perfect!Our wedding day was beautiful and everything we could have possibly asked for. It was truly the best day of our lives and we can't thank Christine enough for helping make it that way!

Holiday Inn Was awesome we had to change our date several times due to my husband being in the military and being on deployment. When I made the first phone call to change the date I was afraid they would not be able to accommodate us but they were with no problem. The Lynn our matridee great in makeing sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to everyone

They did a great job and the food was excellent. sometimes i had a hard time hearing back from the banquet coordinator but other than that, i would definitely recommend the HOliday Inn... they did a beautiful job.

Overall working with the staff at the Holiday Inn was great. The Atlantis Ballroom was beautiful and the hotel staff took care of all our guests. When we booked the room we were told we could fit up to 285 people in the ballroom. We were told 6 months later that the room maxed out at 242. We choose this venue based on room count as well as other things, so this became an issue. Overall, Brooke was a lifesaver and worked out all our kinks (minus having to cut about 45 ppl off our list) and everything turned out perfect.

Good hotel service for my relatives and friends from out of town

I had a beautiful wedding at the Holiday Inn. Food was good, they were accomidating when I wanted to switch rooms to get ready in and the day for the most part went over smoothly. Only thing I would request if you book here is that there is more than one person in the lobby or at least in the area at the time before the ceremony starts. Many of my guests were wandering a bit and confused as to where to go for my outdoor ceremony. It all worked out though and it was a great day. I must say for the most part the staff were on top of the details I threw at them last minute and pulled it off well.
